Hi,
I am evaluating Lansweeper on premises to represent a company's server+service+interface architecture as a CMDB.
To represent the connection between two assets, asset relations seems to be a good choice. There is one limitation I face at the moment: I need to store several connection properties, but
1) asset relations does not have any custom fields to store properties and
2) the Comments field in the Asset Relations table, which I could use to store the connection properties in JSON format, is limited to maximum 150 characters in the DB scheme.
Could you please advise how should I overcome these limitations or inform me any alternative ways to store additional data for Asset Relations?
Thanks,
Marton
