Scan intervel

Hi,

Thanks for the wonderful tool.

Eventhough my systems are getting scanned , i still confused on the exact intervel of systems getting scanned.
Is system getting seen means its scanning also done ?
I have set the autoscan as 30 days but i can see all my systems are getting seen in everyday

Can you use the "lastseen" field in table tblcomputers.

version 4.1 will improve this with 2 fields "lastseen" and "lasttried"

Can i get a report on the schedulded scan ? Like how many systems got scanned, failed etc.

active scanning will scan systems which are newly logged on in the doamin right ? Hope active scanning will not scan everyday if the systems is alive and not scanned in the last 8 hours

When scanning happens, the normal wait time applies for each item.

That is correct, only when you don't enable active scanning or scheduled scanning (and don't use lsclient) your system will never be scanned.

So, if everday i logged in to the system after 8 hours of shutdown, my system gets scanned ?. Please confirm.
If i dont enable any schedulde scanning , a server which is scanned initially will not get scanned untill it restarts and newly logged on ? Please confirm

If you enable active scanning:
Lansweeper queries domain controllers for new logged on machines and scans them if not scanned in the last 8 hours, then the normal wait times of each section are used.

Scheduled scanning: scanning is queued at the scheduled time, then the normal wait times of each section are used.

My query is , which is the settings which talks about the system scanning schedulde and when it runs. ? hOw the systems are getting seen in everyday ?
