Scanning Error: Specified cast is not valid.

I am getting an error when scanning with the message "Specified cast is not valid."

A search of the forums yielded no results. Has anyone else seen this?

This error is likely caused by corrupt WMI on the client machine. Please have a look at this knowledge base article and rescan the problem machine.
