Doing a search on the above gets me this link which, while related, does not fit my case exactly. I have a well function LanSweeper environment but I have this one host that give me the error in title.
This does not appear to be IP/DNS related. The connection tester fails on the WMI portion with the error regardless if i use fqdn or ip.
I know my firewall rules are working properly as i can still deploy software, manage $ shares and vnc which are all dependant on the firewall GPO working. The issue is most certainly on the client system but I dont know where to look.
Client Machine is running Windows 7 Pro SP1

This error likely points to corrupt WMI on the client machine. See this link for more information: http://lansweeper.com/kb/47/How-to-repair-a-corrupt-WMI-installation.html
