WE are running Lansweeper on our network and I am working on the helpdesk portion of it. I have it setup currently so that we access it using servername:portnumber and would like to set it so that our users enter helpdesk.domainname.com to access the helpdesk. Make it easier for our end users.
Does anyone have an idea on how to do this? We are running this using IIS express currently.
I have seen a couple of posts that state we need to do a redirect in IIS but there is not a management console for IIS express so not sure how I can do that. If we need to am willing to move to IIS but not sure how I would do so.
Any help would be appreciated.
