Engaged Sweeper
Dear,

LANSweeper tries to logon to devices. I would like to make exceptions for LANSweeper, not to logon to specific devices. They have to be discovered and registered in the scans.

I expect this is just a setting which I am missing somewhere?

Thx,
Jeroen.

Hi,

If these devices are not part of your scanning targets, there shouldn't be any logon attempts. Additionally, you can also set up scanning exclusions:

Hallo Franc,

Thanks, yes this looks logical.
To make it a little more complex, I want LANSweeper to scan this, seeing they are ESXi hosts.
But at these hosts, I don't want LANSweeper to try to logon.
At other ESXi hosts, I want LANSweeper to act normal, logon and scan what's in there.

Am I to controlling here?
If this kind of seperation is not possible, I have to exclude single addresses from the scanned IP ranges. But that is not going to make things more easy.

Best regards,
Jeroen.
