If SSH is used for management  the switch is listed as linux device and SNMP scanning is skipped.

The lan sweeper device tester can access the switch with snmp:  "Scanning SNMP..
ObjectID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.11.1.166
Hostname: HP ...."

Any suggestions?

Dear,

Can you check if the credentials are correctly mapped to the IP range that you are scanning?
If the scan with devicetester works with those credentials, the regular scan should also work.
Additionally, you can also switch of SSH in your scanning target.
You can also contact Lansweeper Support and send them screenshots of the current scan results and the devicetester output.

The credentials are correctly mapped.

The scan using devicetester works fine.

For a test I also blocked all ports to the MGMT Network except snmp with no improvement.

A product of a different vendor works fine with snmp.

I also contacted Lansweeper support and sent them the requested logs and screenshots but received no reply.
