On the action screen of a computer, make the Tag a user customized hyperlink using the Tag value. Example would be to link to the Dell warranty information for the system.
http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/my_systems_info/details?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=6SPQK61&~tab=1
Allow the end user to set the URL on a per Vendor setting (so it can work for Gateway, HP, etc.)
http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/my_systems_info/details?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=<#Tag#>&~tab=1

I'd still take more custom action parameters for reasons like in this thread:

This wouldn't solve the problem : because you will need to make a different action for each vendor.

Would it be easier for you to make more variables/fields available to Actions? Not just {computer}, {domain}, etc., but give us {tag}?
I could then just make an Action like:
http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/my_systems_info/details?ServiceTag={tag}

Good idea, your not the first to request this.
Maybe I can add all the vendors in a table.
The problem is that the vendor is sometimes "Dell", sometimes "Dell inc", ... so it might be difficult to set this up.
Maybe a good idea to post in this thread the vendor names + the url tags
PS, did you know that you can use the tag in the computer seach box
