Does anyone know if it is possible to reference a custom field in an outgoing email in the Help Desk Module? for example, I have created a custom field called Departments. When a ticket is assigned to an agent, I would like the email to show the User's Name and the custom field value of Department. I've tried using [Department] but the value is not called.

I've moved this to the wish list section of the forum, because what you are inquiring about is not currently possible. Available parameters are listed when you hit the Add Template button under Configuration\E-mail Settings. Ticket custom fields are not part of this list yet.
