Ok, thank you.

We have added this feature to our customer wish list. It will likely not be implemented anytime soon however, as this is the first request we've received for this particular feature.

Could it be a new feature request? Adding an additional column with cpe value?

Lansweeper does not store scanned data in a CPE compliant format unfortunately. You would have to convert the required data somehow.

We use lansweeper to pull device data into our RSA Archer GRC tool. We have another data feed which pulls NVD data (vulnerability and common platform enumeration). If Lansweeper captured common platform enumeration, we can associate all CPE to vulnerabilities for all devices. Unfortunately, Lansweeper captures software by the vendor, product, version (ex. Microsoft, Internet Explorer, 8.0.6001) which is great data and we need this information. However, the National Vulnerability Database http://nvd.nist.gov/cpe.cfm maintains the common platform enumeration in a different format.

Lansweeper - Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0.6001
CPE- cpe:2.3:a:microsoft:internet_explorer:8.0.6001
