Hi there,

I'm just missing one feature with the current (4.1) version of Lansweeper and that's the grouping of OS licenses.

My company has different Server Versions installed (2003,2008,2008R2) and those are all covered by one volume license. So there's no possibility for me to enter the correct licensing information to the lansweeper configuration.

So please add grouping of OS licenses, like the grouping functionality for normal Software.

Example:

Windows Server Standard // 82
-Windows Server Standard 2003 // 9
-Windows Server Standard 2003 R2 // 11
-Windows Server Standard 2008 // 30
-Windows Server Standard 2008 R2 //32

Windows Server Enterprise // 6
-Windows Server Enterprise 2003 // 4
-Windows Server Enterprise 2003 R2 // 1
-Windows Server Enterprise 2008 // 1

Windows Client // 250
-Windows 7 Enterprise 38
-Windows XP Prfessional 202

Thanks 🙂

This feature will be included in Lansweeper 5.0, which is currently in development. We expect to have a 5.0 beta release ready by October.

This will be implemented (together with other license management changes)

Hi again!

So anything new concerning this topic?
It would be great to manage and configure volume licenses, by grouping os licenses like it's already possible with normal software.
