it will be great if Informations out Switches (Cisco) also covers the LLDP Information. Reason, we have a lot devices connected which can not deliver be themself via SNMP mostly IP-Phones. But this devices deliver information via LLDP to our Cisco Switches.

This is important for us as our IPPhones has an small ethernet switch integrated and our PCs are connected to this switch. So Lansweeper can determinated where the PCs is connected.

Thanks and Regards

Any update on this functionality?

At the moment, we are unable to provide an update for when LLDP will be implemented, unfortunately. Lansweeper should still be able to pull data from the VOIP phone however if any of the following protocols are enabled on the phone: FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, JetDirect, MOB (Managed Object Browser), SIP, SMTP, SNMP (SNMPv1, SNMPv2 or SNMPv3), SSH, Telnet or WMI.

MAC addresses specifically can only be retrieved for network devices at the moment if the device is in the same subnet as the Lansweeper server or has SNMP enabled. Port/interface information is pulled from SNMP for network devices as well.

Any update on this functionality? I assume this is why our VOIP phones, which are using LLDP-MED are not being scanned properly on the voice VLAN. They do show up, but there is no MAC address or port number reported.
