Engaged Sweeper II
It would be nice to see a version of lansweeper server running in OS X, that way we could be completely free of Windows and the horrible licensing costs just to run a simple server. And, no more management of Windows as a platform.
Linux is not an option since it's such an administrative overload to keep a server running.

Lansweeper can scan Linux, Mac, Windows, VMware and other network devices, but can currently only be installed on Windows computers, I'm afraid. A Linux and Mac version of our software is on our customer wish list, but I am unable to tell you when this feature might be implemented. Our developers have been focusing on our Lansweeper 6.0 help desk beta for the last few months, fixing the encountered bugs and implementing the new features requested by our customers. This leaves, as a result, very little time to work on other things.
