Must I link to cloud to get Network Diagram and how is it not a security expose to do so?

We have Lansweeper onsite and need to generate network topology diagrams.  The boss is concerned about exposing our infrastructure as a security risk and doesnt want me to do it.  Need info as to why and how it is secure.  Thank You

The diagrams feature is only available in the Lansweeper Sites and not available in Lansweeper Classic.
