Hi all,
Due to the rise of programs using %localappdata% to install to (Chrome, Spotify, etc) and getting around the admin restrictions, we're looking to start restricting the place where users can run executable files from (already in place for removable drives etc).
Is it possible in "Custom Scanning" to search a specified folder for ALL *.exe files? I know this will add considerable time to the scan but would only aim to do it as a one off.
(for interested readers, this is so we can be 100% sure that no legitimate apps will broken by the new rules)

This isn't possible unfortunately. This feature is on our customer wish list, but we do not have a release date for it. Custom file/registry scanning can only be used to find *specific* files/registry keys.
