SMART Status Reporting?

Is there any way to get information out of another namespace?
eg. \root\wmi

It would be really nice to have a report of hard drives that are reporting failures via SMART status.
This information is availible via WMI, but it's not in \root\cimv2

I'm not sure if this is still necessary.
You can query the eventlogs for the "disk" source to see if a disk is about to fail.

Lansweeper, any update on this request? I think this would be extremely valuable and the link he provided has excellent information on accomplishing this via WMI.
