In Windows 10, the Windows Store Applications are not being scanned. This must be extremely frustrating for other users as it is for me, to find out users install software that Lansweeper does not report on. When will Lansweeper have the tools to scan Windows 10 software automatically?

I would think Lansweeper could add a powershell like script to their scanning to get this list. Like Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Select Name, PackageFullName

Man, this would be useful. We're just rolling out the Store for business now and not being able to see which apps are installed is a killer!

for sure! as more and more apps are transitioned to Store apps (Google, Apple, Microsoft) it will be more and more important to know what folks have or don't have from the store.

If apps that were installed through the Windows store are not listed in Add/Remove Programs they will indeed not be scanned as installed software currently.

It may yet be possible to scan Windows Store app currently though, either through custom registry or through custom file scanning. Custom File scanning may be the best options as Windows Store apps appear to be installed in the following directory: Program Files\WindowsApps

This is an item on our customer wishlist though at this moment in time we don't have an estimated release date for this.
