i'm looking to create a report that would show entries having the same serial:

something like:

|computernameA|serial1|
|computernameB|serial1|
|computernameA|serial2|
|computernameB|serial2|
|computernameC|serial2|

You can use the built-in report "Computer: Duplicate service tag" to retrieve this information.
