Getting a false positive for a single Bitlocker enabled device in report. The report has been working fine, but recently a user shows that Bitlocker is OFF. User sent a screen capture that show Bitlocker is ON.

Has anyone run into this issue with Lansweeper?

Issue had corrected itself. I guess this was a hiccup in the system! Next time this issue happens again I'll just wait it out and reach out to support if the issue does not resolve in a few days.

Hi FrankSc,

The asset device has been in the system for some time now and was showing correctly in the report until it was noticed yesterday. The report was created on 6/20/2025. The asset was created on 10/20/2022 and was last scanned on 01/19/2026. Bitlocker was enable on the device on 9/22/2025.

Hi, 

Is the device recently scanned? There could be a delay between the moment is was switched on, and the scan.  The scan time tab on the asset will show all scan times and how. 
If this would not explain it, feel free to reach out to our Support for further guidance.
