Windows updates reports not working

Hi

I'm running a report with the script below but it seems to say sme of the system are out of date when the patch I have assigned to the OS is applied whn I physically look on the PC/ Server. I'm new to Lansweeper so I wonder if anyone could correct or help with this? Also itdoesn't list XP PC's unless I remove the Not before like %XP% on the third last line. Then it only lists XP pcs.

Any help is most welcome

Hi Rob,

This is pretty late, but I just ran into your post.

In the lansweeper portal, go to Scanning > Scanned Item Interval
There, change the value for "Refresh (X days)" of the line "QUICKFIX" to a lower number. This value determines how many days Lansweeper waits before scanning this particular item again, regardless how many times you actually scan the asset.

In your case, you could first set it to 0 (ensuring the item is scanned every time the asset is scanned), then manually rescan the required assets, then set it to a slightly higher value again.
Since history is kept by default for this item, I wouldn't set it too low, or at least not leave it at 0.

To quickly rescan only the needed pc's, go to your report, filter for the outdated pc's by typing part of the "windows update information may not..." string in the "Comment" column, and hit "rescan assets" on the left.
