Where does Lansweeper keep scan history? The database table tblScanHistory is empty in my database.
Answer
Lansweeper does not store scan history by default.
Scan history is only recorded when scan logging is explicitly enabled. When scan logging is turned on, Lansweeper logs scan attempts performed by the Lansweeper Server and stores this information in the database table tblScanHistory. If scan logging is disabled, this table will remain empty.
Scan logging is intended solely for troubleshooting and debugging scan issues. Because it records detailed scan activity, enabling this feature can significantly increase the size of your Lansweeper database.
Important: Only enable scan logging temporarily and disable it again once troubleshooting is complete.
