403 forbidden

Greetings!

I have a problem viewing the web console. Let me mention that I have already seek for some solutions on this forum, but none of them helped for me. When I try to open the web console it said 403 forbidden.


The OS on the computer is WIN SRV 2003 standard edition with service pack 2

1. I have installed SQL 2005 express with SQL Server Management Studio Express.
2. I have installed Lansweeper.
3. I have chosen the mixed authenification.
4. I also enabled SA user regerading this page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143705(SQL.90).aspx

In the C:\Program Files\lansweeper32\Service logerror.txt before the enabeling sa user said:
Sth like: lssqluser32 is not authenicated with sql

After I have enabled SA user in SQL Server Management Studio Express and restarted the SQL server and also restarted Lansweeperservice the logerror.txt it's shown only this:

11.2.2009 11:17:17 : Database connection successful, starting up service

11.2.2009 11:18:08 : Stopping service

11.2.2009 11:18:09 : Database connection successful, starting up service

11.2.2009 11:19:02 : Stopping service

11.2.2009 11:19:05 : Database connection successful, starting up service

But I still cant open the web console. Strange it is, that first I have installed this on my personal computer and it worked fine, but when I have installed it on 2003 domain server it does not work.

Did you change the port of IIS?

To solve the RPC error, please see our knowledgebase (most likely cause of problem is the windows XP firewall blocking access)

I fixed the problem by changing the ports 🙂 weiii

But now i have another problem, when i try to scan one computer, damn it, here we go google again:The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)

OK, i did upload the file, I hope that you see it. I also have another question (you will see in the printscreen attachment). If i Want to "RUN" this webpage it saids: The process cannot access...

I have also reinstalled the lansweeper but it was the same when I wanted to start it. This is a domain server soo I cant reboot this machine soo easily, soo I would like to avoid that. I have restarted iis service with command iisreset /noforce servername but still the same.

One more thing. I have just tried to do this.
1. I have stoped lansweeper server service
2. I changed in IIS default website to work on port 9524 (which is the same port that is mentioned in C:\Program Files\lansweeper32\Service\Lansweeperservice.exe.config.
3. Restarted the lansweeper server service.
4. Tried to log on the web console but the same error 403 appeared
5. Restarted iis with command iisreset /noforce myserver
6. The same error 403 appeared

Could you please provide screenshots of the configuration of your IIS server.
