There are lots of times when writing a report, I'll need to test out a few queries before I include them in the report (complex joins, wheres, etc.). However, the only way I can do this is by creating test reports and viewing/editing each one of those. It's a bit cumbersome. Since we're not using the SQL Server database option, I have to use a compact SQL query tool (SQL Compact Query Analyzer) which I use to run these queries. It would be really nice if Lansweeper had a standalone query tool/analyzer where we could write a query in the top pane and it would display the results in the bottom pane. Something so that we don't have to create test reports and use those. Thanks.
