Can someone help with getting the correct information about a printer that is NOT on the network....perhaps connected usb or parallel even....??
Pretty hard to inventory when this is not showing up anywhere?

Model, vendor, serial number and toner information is only retrieved for network printers scanned through IP Range Scanning, printers with their own Lansweeper webpages.

That is a start....that shows what the printer name is....but not what type.
For example Lexmark uses a Universal drivers for installing the printers....so it shows up as Lexmark universal....when it is really a Lexmark Optra t632. This lets me order the ink and keep inventory as needed...

This information is listed in the Config/Devices/Printer section of computer webpages and stored in the tblPrinters database table.
