We have computers that can see our servers and can talk to them, but the servers cannot see or talk to the clients. Is there any way to have the computer send it's information up to the server instead of the server trying to scan the machines?

Yes, it is by design to keep those computers seperate from the rest of the network. I guess I will have to figure out another way.

Thanks,

Is it by design the server can't see the workstations? If not check default gateway's if you use multiple VLAN's in your network. Just recently had this problem with a new server setup by another admin here.

No, all scans are initiated by the service.
