I'm trying to install LanSweeper on a live SQL 2005 server. I can select the server from the drop down menu but it says the server is unavailable. I tried both SQL and windows authentication.
Both sp2 is installed for the OS (server 2k3) and SQL.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks.

We found a problem in the installer.
If you just use "RESPONSE2008" as the sql server name it should work.

From SQL Server Management Studio I notice no space between RESPONSE and 2008, so please remove that space and try to continue using Windows Authentication!
If still no success, then try just RESPONSE2008 as server name!

Hi,
Could you post a screenshot of the exact error and the name/instance of your database server please.
Could you also post a screenshot of the sql interface where you are able to connect.
