Hello!

We have a few computers with motherboards ASUS, but Lansweeper does not define them as ASUS, why? Example: ASUS P5E3 Deluxe, ASUS P5E-VM HDMI and other ASUS motherboard have name System manufacturer.

Lansweeper gets the model and manufacturer from this WMI class: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa394105%28v=vs.85%29.aspx

This problem applies to all motherboards, ASUS, both old and new. The vast majority of motherboards are the latest available BIOS.

Lansweeper relies on WMI to get the correct information.
If windows reports the information incorrectly, it will be incorrect in Lansweeper.

Maybe a bios upgrade will give you more accurate information.
