We are replacing computers and found that the new computers are not showing on the port listing for the switches and not showing the switch connected to on the network connection section of the computer page

Please try rescanning the switches first. The port connections are retrieved from the switches. Click the Assets link at the top of the web console, tick the checkboxes in front of the switches, hit the Rescan button on the left and wait for the "last seen" dates listed on your switch pages to update.
