access denied all three ways.
This means it's not a dns problem.
Tyr to run the microsoft WMI diagnostic tools on one of the workstations and post the result.
Most likely the default permissions for WMI have been changed.

ok. I need to figure this out.
I ran the config tester and it comes back access denied. Doing this on about 20 computers. 180 scan fine. Domain admin acct scanning. The machine in question is online, pingable, firewall rules are correct... I need assistance to get this ironed out.

There are several error codes returned by wmi.
RPC unavailable or "shutting down"
If during the scan one of the items return "workstation is shutting down", Lansweeper stops trying to scan the other items.

I get this too, I'm wondering if it happens when the systems are shut off and LS tries to reach them?
Does lansweeper differentiate between being powered off (unreachable) and thinking that the RPC system unavailable (also unreachable)?

There is probably also an IP address or computername in the event.
This is caused by Lansweeper not able to scan a machine. (RPC unavailable)
