Hi All,

I'm using the free version on Lansweeper and have upgraded to the latest version 3.5.2 today.

I'm not sure if this is related but i now can't use the Vendor support link on Dell machines.

From a quick look into things it might just be that Dell have reorganised their website and the link is now pointing to a dead page.

Example: This is the link Lansweeper gives me http://supportapj.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/my_systems_info/details?ServiceTag=7XWKD2J

It all use to work fine.

After manually trawling Dells website this the URL of the page that i use to get when clicking on the vendor support link (Or at least it looks the same and has the info i'm after)

http://supportapj.dell.com/support/topics/topic.aspx/ap/shared/support/my_systems_info/en/details?c=ap&l=en&s=gen&~ck=mn&servicetag=7xwkd2j

As i said i don't think its related to the upgrade and just down to Dell moving things on their site.

Is there a quick way to modify the vendor support link at this end or will it be a fix required in Lansweeper ?
I'm thinking its just an entry in a table somewhere i could change ?

Looks like it's indeed a dell website change.

You can use the configuration utility to change the vendor links.
