Ever have those users who never log-off of their workstation?

The LockOutStatus program comes in very handy when trying to diagnose why all of a sudden a user can't print to a network printer nor browse a networked file share.

This exe needs to be placed in a shared tools file share on a server.

Once run, it will query all Domain Controllers and let you see when the password was last set, if the account is locked out, etc.

Create a Custom Action:
\\{ServerName}\{FileShare}\lockoutstatus.exe /u:{domain}\{username}

Hi kas,

VERY nice custom action, it can be extremely useful for my network instead of going into AD all the time and just want to say you did a nice job finding and integrating this into Lansweeper.

It's based off of a computer, yes.

But it it grabs the user information based off of the last user to log on to that specific computer.

Great tool, but it appear that you have to select a computer first to get the user. There should be a way to type in a user name in Lansweeper and in the User details windows there should be an option to run this tool. In other words there are no Custom Action for users just computers.

Thanks,
Niles
