Since LS can pull tags for HP's, Dells, etc, I was wondering if anyone uses LS somehow to pull from those vendor sites the current drivers for their tagged systems and see if any need updating? Is there even a way to do that?
say for example you have a Dell laptop and the user complains it is bluescreening with some kind of driver message, well of course you check Dell's support site for that tag and there are several updates published within the last quarter. Your suspicion is that the system might need some of those and you begin to compare, maybe download some and check versions etc.
So what I was wonderings is does anyone have a report/automated way etc to compare those ahead of time or on a schedule other than using some vendor solution and another thing to manage since LS already pull much of that info?
