"Duplication" is not related to the scanning methods you use or to multiple protocols being enabled on a device. Keep in mind that: - A Windows computer's NetBIOS domain name/NetBIOS computer name combination is used as its ID. In other words: a Windows computer is not "duplicated" unless its name or domain changes. - A network device's MAC address is used as its ID, if available. In other words: a network device is not "duplicated" if its MAC address remains the same. - A network device's IP address is used as its ID if its MAC address cannot be detected. A network device without a MAC address may have multiple pages if its IP address has changed.
