Errors all over the place

Hi

I get different errors from different machines
I scanned 183 Laptops and only 31 looks fine
Please help me to correct this

i've been searching and batteling through these forums but i still cannot fix my problem.
PS I've added this to my logon. bat
netsh firewall set service remoteadmin enable
\\10.11.1.1\netlogon\lsclient.exe 10.11.1.50

On vista the remote registry service is disabled by default.
Check to make sure this is set to automatic and is started.

and cannot connect ot his registry remotely
all the other stuff like dcom and wmi stuff runs at logon so does the netsh stuff

any help or is this a problem with vista ?

I've done the dcom stuff and the WMI stuff at logon aswell as the netsh stuff. The ping -a stuff and the connect to remote registry thing ... i stil have this problem.
Any ideas?

and it is mostly my CapeTown Branch so it looks like some latency thing ?

The problem is caused by a timing issue with the windows firewall.
In the next release the ping check will be removed.

Slowly but surely things areting to look up
i still have 16 ping errors
E.g. Pingerror Ping failed to DBNWSXOLISWAS (10.31.5.7)
How do i resolve this? I can ping the machine in CMD.

but i can ping the machine in dos

just one thing ... this machine is offsite in capetown and it looks like alot of the capetown machines give these errors.
there's latency on the line and i was just wonering if this could be the cause ?
