I realize that if say a service pack is updated on a client's machine, then on the next scan of the machine, then Lansweeper wil record the change.

What about the opposite condition?

Let's say you are on an isolated network and not using a Firewall.

We know that there are times when a Microsoft update will turn the Firewall back on automatically.

The next time Lansweeper does a scan, the RPC error will occur. Does Lansweeper report this error?

We have a machine where this exact scenario happened and Lansweeper still shows the Computer as "Green" even though now when we run a Connection Test, the RPC error appears. Shouldn't the Computer change back to "RED" so that the change is highlighted?

Thanks.

The computer will be show as non-red but the computer will appear in the RPC unavailable report and on the action screen you will see a red tab "errors"

Red computers are computers that have never been scanned because of problems.
