We've recently upgraded all of our projectors on campus to new Epson Powerlite models (mostly 826W+). These have the ability to be networked and will report errors, bulb issues, etc via SNMP.
Right now with IP range scanning, they are detected simply as "Webserver" but don't even indicate they support SNMP. Projector is also not an option in the device type dropdown, though I did find on the support forums the workaround to manually add it.
Thought it would be great to add monitoring capability for networkable projectors like these. Thanks for the consideration.
