Hi There
I am new to Lansweeper and I am having some difficulties getting to work. I followed the instructions outlined in the lansweeper document and I could see the Lansweeper Web Console but cannot get it to work. When I run the file lsclient.exe manually on a client machine on the internal network I get connection failed result. The network is protected by a Cisco PIX firewall and Lansweeper is running on Windows 2003 Server R2 (firewall is disabled on the server) and I need it for the internal network. Also when I try to use Lansweeper Connection Manager no matter what details I type I get [DBNET][ConnectionOpen(Connect()).]SQL server does not exist or access denied. I have already installed SQL Server 2005 Express Edition and configured it as outline in the document!!!!!
Could you please help me?
Thanks

Which error are you getting in your login script?
Best is to use a normal login script and not an "active directory startup script"

Hi and thanks for your reply
After many tried I have managed to get Lansweeper too work. The only thing that I am having trouble with is getting it to work as a logon script. I would be really gratefull if any one could advice me on how make a logon script.vbs so or a text I can append it to the curent script I am using.
I have tried the emulate the script described in the manuall but without luck.
Many Thanks

Could you first check the errorlog.txt file in the service folder to see if you have any errors.
