Engaged Sweeper
Hi,

I would like to know how can I force my active scanning to start. I know scans are started upon the configuration in the Lansweeper Configuration Utility - Scan options - Item wait time.

I looked in the Lansweeper Configuration Utility - Scan options - Scheduled scanning but you can only specify specific computer to be schedules every X days. I'm looking for something to start the scan NOW.

I tried to just restarting the PC. Doesn't seems to make it start.
I tried to stop and restart the lansweeper service. Doesn't seems to make it start.

Also, is there another way to monitor the scanning other than using the Web Console - Digital dashboard and look at the last seen section?

Thanks

See page 2 for the solution.

Could you post the configuration of your active scanning, and your errorlog.txt file please.
I suspect that you made a mistake in your config somewhere.

I want to do something like this but with the active scan.

I stoped the service and restarted it.

Congratulations, your lansweeper service is running

I actually have 111 pc in the database and would like the application to go through all of them.

In example, one of my pc had a name change this morning from abc-1 to cde-1. How could I force the system to "find it". I don't want to set it up manually in the:
- Configuration console
- Scan options
- Scheduled scanning
- and then write it's computer name there.

After you have enable active scanning it should start in 15 minutes.
If you want is faster you have to restart your service.
If nothing happens you have most likely made a mistake in your domain/OU configuration.

You can monitor the queue on your server using http://127.0.0.1:9524
