Hi!
We are planning to buy an hardware inventory software, lansweeper is one of the best I've tried.
Our particular need is to populate our hosts database with uncommon data that we plan to get from the remote hosts unsing internally developed custom executables (for example: how many do contain Somename firefox extension; for all the printers configurations, which ones default to A4 and which to Letter, etc.)
Could anybody explain how to add new "Scan Items" on the Lansweeper server in order to achieve the above?
Thank you,
Davide

This would involve these things:
1) buying the premium version
2) adding you own custom tables to the sql server
3) populating the tables with your custom tools
4) optionally creating new reports to visualise the data.
