It looks like I had version 3.1 judging from the properties of my backup lsmanage.exe. Should I just go back to the backup lsmanage I have and then upgrade to 3.5 first? Where can I find that download?

Did you upgrade directly from 3.2 to 3.5.1?
The update script for the 3.5.1 beta only updates from 3.5 to 3.5.1

It's either this or you are connecting to the wrong database with lsmanage.exe

Oh ok. I'm not very good with SQL but I'm getting there! I stopped the service, run the SQL script, replaced lsmanage.exe. The instructions say that I need to fill in the netbios names of the active scanned domains before starting the service so I'm trying to open lsmanage to do this and receive an error: invalid object name "tsysconfig". If I select OK lsmanage opens but I receive another error when trying to go to the active scanning tab... "invalid object name 'tsysactivescandomain"... I sure I've done something wrong but I just don't know what! Any help would be appriecated.Thanks.

I am trying to update to 3.5.1 beta in hopes to resolve issues with serveral of my clients not be scanned through active scan. I've downloaded the update. The issue I'm having is when I run lsupdate.exe and execute “upgrade 35 to 351.sql” with or without the quotes I receive synatex errors.
Also, are premium users provided any sort of phone support?

You need to load the script first, the name of the script is “upgrade 35 to 351.sql” and it is located in the zip file.

No, I'm sorry we only provide forum support (or e-mail for some special cases)

Please provide screenshots of your configuration (domains to scan, credentials) to help you solve the problem.

I suggest trying the 3.5.1 beta (it solves some known active scanning issues)
http://www.lansweeper.com/forum/yaf_postst1514_Lansweeper-Service-351-update-1-beta.aspx

Then fill in the domains you want scanned (netbios name and dns name) and optional alternate credentials.
Then check the checkbox to enable active scanning.

The service should pack this up within 10 minutes. (or you can restart the service if you want it quicker)
