HTTP 500 Internal Server Error

Open Lansweeper Web Console and get the HTTP 500 error message. Most likely causes: website under construction or website has programming error. I have re-installed IIS and get the same error message, so I wonder if a config file needs corrected. What config file(s) should I look at or what other aspects of the Lansweeper installation should I look at?

For users with the same problem:

The problem was a corrupt IIS install.
The following code solved the problem:

cd %windir%\system32\inetsrv
rundll32 wamreg.dll, CreateIISPackage
regsvr32 asptxn.dll /s
iisreset /restart

There are no other websites or applications on this server. It is Lansweeper only.

I've checked the Default Web Site and the Lansweeper web site in IIS. For both, the Directory Security tab shows Anonymous Access as enabled and Intergrated Windows authentication as NOT enabled. So I have enabled the Integrated Windows, rebooted and I get the same HTTP 500 error.

In IIS under tab security could you check if anonymous and integrated logon are enabled.

this is an upgrade. i'll post screenshots of the error and IIS config. will try to post config files too.

Did you do the upgrade or a new installation.

I recommend a fresh installation.
Could you post screenshots of the error and your IIS configuration please.
