I am still evaluting this software and I have ran into a strange issue. While the LS scans have worked out quite well and such, I am having a hard time for it scanning some of our Windows 2003 Domain controllers. I am getting half of them inventoried. The other half just seems to not report back the OS information, Hardware Information and only shows maybe 10 installed applications.

I have a trial key for Premium so I am actively scanning specific OUs. I have used LSTrigger to try and update the information. None of the servers report any RPC or WMI errros. I have the issue with Dell and HP servers a. But I also have the same model Dell and HP servers reporting everything normally too. ALL servers are a mixed version of Windows 2003 Standard SP1, R2 with SP2.

I will compare some Windows Security updates to see if there is something causing the problem.

Any suggestions would be great. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Could you show a screenshot from this "grayed out" please.

No, these systems are set to Active in the drop-down box.

No Errors in the Errorlog.txt file. I run the Test Connection application and get the following results on these Domain Controllers:

Remote WMI test
-----------------------------------------------
Found: Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Standard Edition Service Pack 2
\root\cimv2 Remote WMI access test OK

Remote Registry test using WMI
-----------------------------------------------
Found: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Service Pack 2
\root\default Remote WMI access test OK

Could you see any errors in the errorlog.txt file about these computers?
When you do the connectiontester to them, is it working?

Do you see these servers in the website without any information and errors.
Or are these servers missing from the scan?

Yes - These servers show up on the web site but are greyed out as NO OS Scanned. There is no errors tab. These server do report installed software but nothing about hardware or OS information.

I can PM screenshots of the Actions and Computer Report pages if you would like.

I think I get it now.
Thet are probably grayed out because in the custom fields you have changed their state.
Is this correct?
