Another problem we are facing with Lansweeper 5.0.0.60 is the following. We used to download the result of some Lansweeper reports as Excel (or CSV) files for further processing. We use internally Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7 Pro x64 machines, we run the Lansweeper site using an HTTPS connection and up until the latest Lansweeper 4.x version we had no problem whatsoever with the download function.

Now that we have updated to version 5.0.0.60, without touching anything else in our environment, the download function doesn't work anymore. Click on one of the "Export to" link will make IE9 to ask to save the file (BTW: the proposed file name is the relative URL of the export function, not really suitable as a file name), but once a proper name and path are selected, the download stops immediately with an IE dialog "<file> couldn't be downloaded."

What could be wrong now?

Problem resolved through email. The option "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" should be disabled under Internet Options\Advanced\Security. (It is by default.)
