Lansweeper on Server 2008

Is Lansweeper supported on Server 2008? Documentation show that it can be installed on Server 2003 and up, however nothing specifically mentioned 2008.

You state that it works fine but I am in need of the manual steps to accomplish what the installer can't. How does one manually finish the install from where it fails?

The current installer does not support windows 2008
(this is an installer problem, the software can run fine on windows 2008)
