I've noticed that on the main asset screen
the Last User: entry on the Asset Screen shows different results if its a Scan or a LSPUSH
The first time i saw it the name
was in the format
[PICTURE] Firstname Lastname
After i did a LSPUSH
i see
[PICTURE] PCNAMEABCD$
the pcname is actualy 9 characters with the $ making it 10 long on my screen.
if i then "RESCAN" device
it goes back to
[PICTURE] Firstname Lastname
thank you
******PS
Also the
"Computers logged onto"
page list is not the same since the HOtlink from that name shows up different
example
http://SERVER/lansweeper/user.aspx?username=PCNAMEABC%24&userdomain=DOMAIN
compared to
http://SERVER/lansweeper/user.aspx?username=LOGINNAME&userdomain=DOMAIN

Does LSPush continue to provide updates to the Lansweeper server? Or is it a one-time inventory of the machine?

One-time. Lspush stops working after you run the executable.

If you are using PsExec to launch LsPush, note that PsExec runs under the local system account on the remote machine. That's why the incorrect username is reported.
