Limiting what is scanned at the client

I am pretty sure that I read that I can limit what get scanned durring the login (example: just scan for BIOS version.
Some of our users login via dial up and it is tremendously slow as it is, so I want to limit what I scan for during each login.

Maybe a full scan during the first scan and then every 6 months.
scan software only monthly

...

IS this a possibility?

You can set the waittime really high for all items, this should trigger a full scan first time and then every x days.
