You're right!
You know what? I tried doing >lsclient aews-dxbd00003:9524 but it didn't work; it failed. I didn't think that my computer name is the server name.
Thank you so much.

seems like your servername is aews-dxb00003 and not sqlexpress.
try "lsclient aews-dxb00003"

By default it's on port 9524 if you haven't changed anything in the lansweeper31.exe.config file.
You can try a "netstat -a" on you server to see if a process is listening on this port.

This is what I got from errorlog.txt:
5/12/2008 2:55:17 PM : Database connection successful, starting up service
How do I know if server sqlexpress is on port 9524 or other port?

Is your service running on server "sqlexpress" on port 9524?
Check the errorlog.txt file in your service folder
