We have a Lansweeper 3.5 server installed on a Windows XP SP3 machine on a single 2003 AD domain. We have put the lsclient.exe in the netlogon directory as described by the instructions.

The client reposrts success but the logs on the server has only "scanning multiple domains requires the premium version" for every computer thats logging on.

Is there any solution for this????

We have tried with an older lsclient.exe found in this forum. It still reports the same.

Thank's,

I was getting the same error.
After updating "lansweeperservice" it's gone!.

As a side note I was unable to update from version 3.2. Something broked in the SQL update process when dropping a table, after messing with it I decided to do a clean installation.
Is it possible to get the data availlable in the old database?

Thank 's

That did the trick! Thanks for the quick response. Computers are now scanning as they should.

Could you please download the lansweeper service from http://www.lansweeper.com/debug/lansweeperservice.zip

(stop the service and replace the executable)

Please post the results.

I am having this same issue with a fresh install of the latest version, and yes, the only error message i have in my service log is the one referencing the inability to scan multiple domains when i only have one domain.

Is this the only error in your errorlog.txt file?

Is the windows XP client's domain the same as the computer being scanned?

All the computers are in the same Windows 2003 AD domain. The Windows XP computer running the service is a member of the domain. All services are running with the domain\administrator account.

Every computer on the domain generates the same entry in the errorlog.txt except the Windows XP computer running the Lansweeper service.

The Connection tester application gives OK on most of the computers.

Even the AD domain controller generates "scanning multiple domains requires the premium version" in errorlog.txt.
