Hi - are you able to outline the process for moving Lansweeper from a current working installation on one server to a new server.

Obviously I would like to take all existing data, reports, configurations etc to the new server.

Hope you can help.

Thanks.

The connectionstring is in your web.config file

Probably Windows account - is there a quick way to check?

Are you connecting using the lssqluser to the database or using a windows account?

OK - seemed to solve this - strange one - changed the account used under default application pool from Network Service to Local System and then back again in IIS manager - seemed to clear it!!!!

Strange!

The variable in the config file seems to have no effect.

I tried editing the web.config file but that was already correct - i.e. dd/MM/yyyy.

I know the new server was configured with US regional settings initially but I have changed these back to UK! Still no luck though!

Hope you can help - is the value stored somewhere else?

Thanks.

Hi - I managed to copy the database over and after a little bit of tweaking got it all working.

The only thing that is wrong, so far, is the date format now shows as the american format in all the views.

Any ideas how I can change this back to the UK format?

Thanks
