I am evaluating Lansweeper v6045 and see that the SNMP switches have sometimes at the port row an column entry with the asset (windows icon and name) as a link.
Most Windows Server are multi-homed and have more than one nic.
The patch cable go from the server sometimes to the same managed switch and are attached to the correct vlan port.
Lansweeper seems to only "map" the asset to the Asset / Port name on the default vlan.
The other vlans of the switch are orrectly recognized in the column Vlan, but there are no entries in the columns Asset / Connection.
The connected switch ports status lamps are green, correct speed and mac address are shown.
Did I do something wrong?
No support for Vlans / Assest mapping?
